Welcome to MixConvert ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MixConvert website at mixconvert.com and all associated services (collectively, the "Service"). 2. Service Description
MixConvert is a free, browser-based file conversion tool. All file processing occurs locally on your device using WebAssembly technology. We do not upload, store, or access your files at any time. The Service supports conversion between various audio, video, image, and document formats.
3. Use License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal and commercial purposes, subject to these Terms. This license does not include the right to modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our Service.
4. User Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for the files you convert using MixConvert. You must ensure that you have the legal right to convert any files you process through our Service. You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
5. Prohibited Uses
You may not: (a) use the Service for any illegal activity; (b) attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble our software; (c) interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers; (d) use automated tools to access the Service in a way that overburdens it; (e) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its original content (excluding user-provided files), features, and functionality, is owned by MixConvert and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Our name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are our trademarks.
7. Third-Party Services
The Service may include third-party advertising (Google AdSense) and analytics (Google Analytics). These services may collect usage data through cookies and similar technologies. Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS. CONVERSION RESULTS MAY VARY DEPENDING ON FILE TYPE, SIZE, AND BROWSER CAPABILITIES.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MIXCONVERT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DATA LOSS, FILE CORRUPTION, OR CONVERSION ERRORS.
